Blessing Bags:
Lenten Project for all St. Bernadette Religious Education Students
When: Wednesday, March 9, 2022
Where: RE Classrooms (During Normal Class Time)
Purpose: To gain knowledge about homelessness in ABQ and to promote giving back to our community during this Lenten Season. We are ALL called to serve one another.
What We Need:
We are asking each student to bring at least 5 items from the list below. These items can be purchased from the Dollar Tree or any store of your choosing. You may even have some of these items around your home. Please bring NEW items for this project. Your items may be brought to the office anytime between now and March 9. Thank you. We will pack items during class and the bags will be taken to the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal on San Mateo and Central who work directly with the poor.

- New Socks
- New Underwear

- Trail Mix
- Deodorant
- Energy Bars
- Hand Warmers
- Wet Wipes Packets
- Cheese/Cracker Snacks
- Razors
- Lotions
- Cotton Swabs
- Dental Floss
